Village Regulars
We’re so excited to share more than just what’s in the shop.
The Village Regulars is a place for stories from our little corner of the coast — favorite finds, local spots, seasonal inspiration, and the everyday moments that make Rowayton feel like home.
Here, we’ll be highlighting the incredible local artists, makers, and small businesses that bring so much creativity and charm to our community.
At Rowayton Village, we believe the best collections are built together. If you’re an inspiring local artist, maker, or creative with a story to share, we’d truly love to hear from you.
Whether it’s artwork, design, or a special product idea, there’s room for your voice in our Village.

5 Things We Love About Summer in Rowayton
There's a moment every June when Rowayton exhales.
The boats come back out. The farmers market sets up on the green. Someone's always walking a dog past the market with an iced coffee, and you stop to talk for longer than you planned. It happens every year, and every year it still catches us off guard — how good it feels to be here when the season turns.
We started Village because we wanted to bottle that feeling a little. The ease of it. The way life slows down just enough to actually be lived. So in that spirit, here are five things that make summer in Rowayton feel like nowhere else on earth.
1. Bayley Beach in the early morning
Before the towels go down and the kids arrive, Bayley Beach belongs to the walkers and the early risers. The light on the water at 7am is something painters have been trying to capture since the 1800s — and honestly, they're not wrong to try. If you haven't done an early morning walk along the shore before the day gets going, put it on your summer list.
2. The farmers market
Every Saturday, June through November. Local produce, fresh flowers, people you actually know. It's the kind of errand that doesn't feel like an errand — it feels like the whole point of living somewhere like this. We've been known to show up just for the tomatoes and leave an hour later.
3. Shakespeare on the Sound at Pinkney Park
Blankets on the grass, a cooler, good company, and Shakespearean drama performed against a backdrop of the Five Mile River. It sounds almost too idyllic to be real, but it happens every summer right here in Rowayton, and it never gets old. If you haven't been, this is the year.
4. The way the village actually slows down
There's a particular Rowayton summer pace — unhurried, a little salty, deeply content. People walk into town instead of drive. Kids ride bikes to the pizza place. Neighbors linger on front porches. It's the thing that's hardest to explain to someone who hasn't experienced it, and the first thing you miss when summer ends.
5. The river at golden hour
The Five Mile River at the end of a summer day is one of those views that makes you feel quietly lucky. Boats coming in, the light going orange, someone always waving from a dock. We built Village around the idea that the best things in life are simple and shared — and this view is pretty much the reason why.
